    Why Artists Share Their Art

I was at a New York art fair. I was interviewing artists about their work.

    Cameras. Conversations. Stories.

Everything was going beautifully, but one artist caught me off guard.

    He said no.
    No to sharing.
    No to being seen.

And not for the reason you’d expect.

There are so many reasons why it’s important that artists share their work.

And not just with collectors and art-world decision-makers.

What happened in New York made me reflect on something I really want to share with you.
