My first stab at this:

I combine the rich surface of polished bronze forms with the contrasting colour and texture of rusted sheets of steel, to create sculptures which have their origins in the microscopic world.

Mark Butler, I’m going to tell you what I’ve been telling others. Practice saying this out loud. Pretend you’re at a cocktail party and surrounded by art collectors. This is really really close but I’ll bet it’s a mouthful. Simplify.
