What Questions Do Art Students Ask?
Art students frequently ask common questions about their future, their place in the art world, and how to navigate their creative journey. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of university art students who, despite their eagerness to learn and explore, often express fear and uncertainty about their path. These familiar questions, which many of us seek answers to, are explored in a video I've created for you to watch now. Beyond these inquiries, finding inspiration and connection is key, much like great artists have done for centuries in the Provençal region in the south of France, a place I call home and deeply love. This understanding of connecting with the Muse and other creative people is at the heart of the 'Easels in Eden: Painting and Prosperity Retreat' this September. You'd spend a week in a gorgeous villa outside the medieval town of Avignon, with myself and artist Samantha Kaplan, who will be leading insightful painting sessions. You'd be part of a select gathering of other international artists. Together, we'll go deep into your art itself, your marketing and your practice. Imagine what it would be like to take your art-making to a powerful new place. In France! Don't worry if you don't have a portfolio or if you're still figuring it out. The 'Easels in Eden: Painting and Prosperity Retreat' is about fun and growing and delighting the senses. We will romance your Muse. This will be a creative adventure you'll never forget. And it will feed your art practice for years to come. Yes, it's going to be that powerful!
