How to Approach Galleries, Curators, and Art World Decision-Makers (Without Being Ignored)

Most artists are taught to “put their work out there.”
Very few are taught how to approach the art world professionally.

This short training breaks that silence.

For decades, I worked on the other side of the art world—inside galleries, studios, and
institutions—curating shows, taking meetings with collectors, and deciding who moved
    forward and who didn’t.

    What I saw surprised me.

Artists with extraordinary work were being overlooked every day.

Not because of their talent—but because of how they introduced themselves.

In this video, I share the professional framework I used to build long-term relationships with
galleries, curators, museums, interior designers, and collectors worldwide—relationships that
led to millions in sales and, ultimately, to my professional archives being acquired by the
    Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art.

    This is not about pitching.
    It’s not about self-promotion.
And it’s not about trying to impress the wrong people.

It’s about understanding how decisions are actually made—and how to enter those
conversations with clarity, respect, and confidence.

If you’ve ever wondered why your outreach goes unanswered—or sensed that “just sending
your work” isn’t enough—this is where to begin.
